In 2014, longtime friends and artists Brian Steward & Eerie Von collaborated on a series of acrylic paintings that have never been shared with the public until now. Three of them are now available exclusively from Fantasm Media as ultra-limited "11 x 17" high-quality hand-signed prints.
Many fans know Eerie Von as the bassist for the classic lineup of Danzig and the seminal horror-punk outfit, Samhain. What a lot of fans may not know is that Von is also a talented photographer and painter. Some of the most iconic photos of punk pioneers, The Misfits, were shot by Von. He's now enjoying a successful solo musical career as well and still paints constantly.
Brian Steward, Publisher and Editor-In-Chief at Fantasm Media and Editor-In-Chief of KISS: The Official Magazine, is an artist and photographer who got his start at Heavy Metal magazine as a contributing artist and art director. He has painted covers, interior art and centerfolds for magazines such as Fangoria, GoreZone and Delirium, and has created original art for the band, KISS, as well as photographing the band for various official projects.
